We Rise Together provides trauma survivors a safe haven of love, support and friendship in Munich. Founded by and managed by trauma survivors, the community supports each other to heal from trauma and thrive as they rebuild their lives. Community activities include support groups and one-to-one meetings, online chat groups, seminars, yoga and art therapy classes. The community also offers self help education, self-care motivation circles, social events, group trips to clinics and support for visits to women's shelters, police, lawyers, therapists and courts. The community was born out of need: To address a gap for English speaking support for immigrant trauma survivors in the City of Munich. Since the founding, the community has not only addressed this need but has made a life changing difference for its members.
